Day Two Automotive is an established and fast-growing shop that lives and breathes American Muscle Cars, Classic Cars, and Hot Rods. We specialize in maintenance, repairs, and custom modifications – and we’re looking for an experienced mechanic who shares our passion for keeping these iconic machines on the road.

If you live for the rumble of a big block engine and take pride in your craftsmanship, this is the place for you. Plenty of work between customer rides and shop builds!

Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair vintage and performance vehicles
Perform routine tune-ups and scheduled maintenance
Provide labor and time estimates for repairs
Source parts and materials needed for each job
Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
Communicate clearly with customers about repairs and maintenance
Provide recommendations for future work

Skills
In-depth knowledge of classic car mechanics:
Engines, transmissions, axles, brake systems, fuel systems, ignition systems, suspension, electrical systems, HVAC, and exhaust systems
Proficiency with shop equipment and diagnostic tools:
Vacuum gauge, timing light, brake lathe, hydraulic press, drill press, scope, scan tools, A/C machine, welder
Ability to perform light fabrication
MIG welding experience
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
Cleanliness and pride in your workspace
Good communication and customer service skills

Requirements
Experience working on classic or performance vehicles
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Available to work weekends when necessary
