I am Rashad Jones, an experienced Automotive Restoration Technician based in Columbia, SC, with a solid background in auto body repair, painting, and detailing. My extensive hands-on experience spans several years, focusing on providing high-quality restoration and maintenance services.

Currently, I work at Maaco Paint and Body, where I specialize in detailing, headlight restoration, masking, sanding, painting, and removing car parts. My skills in wet sanding, bonding and priming, buffing, and run removal ensure that vehicles are restored to their best condition. My role requires maintaining a clean work environment and meticulous attention to detail.

Previously, I worked at Econo Auto Painting, where I gained experience in car prepping, sanding, masking, cleaning vehicles, and in-booth prepping for painting. I also have production manager experience, showcasing my leadership skills and ability to manage workflows efficiently. My background includes a role as a Mechanical Insulator at Pipeline Services Inc., where I read blueprints and worked with lifts.

I hold a high school diploma and have completed some college coursework in Electronics Engineering at Midlands Technical College. My skills in auto body repair, auto painting, and mechanical work, combined with my ability to perform heavy lifting and organizational tasks, make me a well-rounded candidate for any automotive restoration team.
