About the Candidate
I am Tasha Martin, an entry-level automotive technician with a passion for learning and a commitment to excellence. I graduated from Rosedale Technical College in March 2022, earning accolades such as the Rosedale Ace for maintaining a 4.0 GPA and the instructor’s choice award for perfect attendance. Actively involved in the “Women in the Trades” group, I am dedicated to advancing my skills in a traditionally male-dominated industry.
My experience includes an apprenticeship at Rohrich Automotive Service Center, where I worked closely with a Master Technician. I have honed my skills in preventative maintenance, brake repair, tire mounting and balancing, oil changes, and basic auto repair. I am proficient with shop tools and equipment, including brake lathes, A/C machines, and diagnostic scan tools. Additionally, I hold state and emissions licenses, as well as ASE Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling certification.
With training from both the Mazda Certified Technician Program and Honda Express Service Tech, I bring a solid foundation in automotive repair and maintenance. I am eager to continue growing in the automotive industry and seek a position that allows me to apply my knowledge and skills while gaining further expertise.
