Job Title: Service Advisor Location: Hendrick Lexus Charlotte, 6025 E. We are looking for a dedicated Service Advisor to join our team and contribute to the continued success of our dealership. Job Summary: The Service Advisor is responsible for selling, identifying, and documenting service, maintenance, and repair services for our customers. This role involves scheduling service appointments, communicating effectively with customers and technicians, and ensuring that the service department meets dealership standards for repair and service order production. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with customers and technicians to identify required maintenance. Advise customers on necessary and recommended services, and offer additional repairs when appropriate. Calculate the cost of replacement parts and labor, and provide itemized estimates to customers. Schedule appointments and ensure timely communication with customers throughout the service process. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area. Participate in required training and comply with all safety rules and regulations. Follow company policies and procedures while upholding core values of integrity, teamwork, and customer enthusiasm. Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in automotive or customer service industries is preferred. Working knowledge of mechanical operations of vehicles. Strong interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills. Valid Driver’s License is required. Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Ability to navigate Dealership Management Systems and other web-based applications. Strong communication skills, with the ability to read and comprehend instructions and effectively present information. Physical Demands & Work Environment: Regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, and sit. Exposure to loud noise, vibration, exhaust fumes, and various service repair conditions. Duties are performed both indoors in the service area and outdoors, including conducting road tests on customer vehicles.
