Classic Car Mechanic

Day Two Automotive is an established automotive shop specializing in the maintenance, repairs, and modifications of American Muscle cars, Classic cars, and Hot Rods. Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled mechanic with a strong passion for classic cars to join our growing business. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of classic American vehicles, ensuring they remain roadworthy and performing at their best. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues in classic cars, American Muscle cars, and Hot Rods. Perform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance. Provide labor and time estimates for automotive repairs. Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components. Communicate effectively with customers about repairs, maintenance needs, and provide recommendations for future work. Qualifications: Valid Driver's License Reliable transportation In-depth knowledge of classic car mechanics, including engines, transmissions, braking systems, fuel systems, ignition systems, suspension, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and exhaust systems. Knowledge of shop equipment. Ability to perform light fabrication and MIG welding. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Deadline and detail-oriented. Ability to work collaboratively with others. Strong passion for keeping classic cars on the road. Strong organizational skills.
