Inventory Consultant (Classics Sales)

Job Description: As an Inventory Consultant, you will serve as the brand ambassador at the local level, responsible for increasing showroom inventory by acquiring new and repeat consignment business. You will achieve this by sourcing vehicles through online platforms and attending various in-person events. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Acquire new and repeat consignments through various outreach methods, including attending car shows, meeting with car shops, attending car club meetings, and viewing collections. Make a minimum of 125 outbound calls weekly, along with 100+ additional points of contact via text and email. Confirm and set appointments with potential consignors. Create and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the consignment process. Stock new inventory and ensure consignment paperwork is up to date. Manage customer renewals and provide support at car club shows and meetings hosted at our showroom. Participate in all Gateway Caffeine and Chrome events, as well as the Holiday Party. Occasionally train new Inventory Consultants or provide backup support to other showrooms, which may require travel. Collaborate and work as a team with other employees. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience. Minimum of 2 years of sales experience. Strong knowledge of classic cars. Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record. Basic computer skills required; CRM experience is a plus. Hours: Showrooms are open Monday-Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Employees work 5 days a week, with Saturday being a required workday. Sunday and one additional day off during the week. Scheduled working hours are 8:45 AM - 5:15 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Pay: Commission-based income with earning potential of $50,000 - $65,000 in the first year. Benefits: 401(k) with matching contributions. Paid Basic Life and AD&D Insurance.
