AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR / RESTORATION TECHNICIAN

POSITION SUMMARY: Donovan Motorcar Service is currently interested in adding to our talented staff, and we are looking for a full-time experienced automotive repair /restoration technician to join our dedicated team. This technician needs to be able to perform late model and/or classic car repair of British and European cars; body and paint repair excluded. We are willing to train someone with less experience if they are committed, enthusiastic, and willing to learn. PREFERRED SKILLS: · Brake system diagnostics, rebuilding, and repair · Drive-train diagnostics, rebuilding, and repair · Fuel system diagnostics, rebuilding, and repair · Electrical system diagnostics and repair · Restoration skills including the basic disassembly and reassembly of a vehicle · Basic machining skills desired but not required · Basic fabrication skills · Must have a passion for classic cars and restoration work · Willingness to develop automotive craftsmanship skills PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: · Two years of restoration technician experience preferred · Experience with European cars a plus but not required PAY & BENEFITS: · Competitive pay commensurate with skills and experience. · Insurance coverage available. · Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays. · Profit sharing after first full year of service. · SIMPLE retirement plan with company matching funds (3% max). · Parts at cost program. · Company uniforms provided. · Supportive and collaborative team environment. · Opportunity to work on a diverse range of vintage vehicles. · Located in the beautiful Berkshires!
