About Veloce Imports
Alfa Romeos and Jaguars are the core of the work at Veloce Imports, a vintage repair and restoration shop in Concord, New Hampshire. The shop also takes in Fiats, Lancias, Ferraris, MGs, Triumphs, Morgans, Porsches and other European cars. Services run from routine maintenance and detailed photo-documented inspections to engine and transmission overhauls, electrical and fuel diagnostics, restoration and fabrication, and resto-mod builds. Two technician roles are open. The experienced Classic Euro Technician position covers everything from routine maintenance to complete restorations, including mechanical and electrical overhauls and custom fabrication on German, Italian and British vintage cars. The entry-level role is aimed at someone earlier in their career who wants to learn the same range of older European cars. Either way, the job means working on cars that many shops turn away, where patience with period electrics and carburetion matters. The shop is run by founder Jo Mount and his son Nigel, a technician and fabricator who grew up in the shop. Jo opened his first shop in 1991 and began operating as Veloce Imports in 1996.
