Job Description

BMW of Louisville is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician with expertise in alignment, diagnostics, welding, and general mechanic work on cars and light trucks. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a high-pressure environment. Skills Required: Alignment Mechanic Experience Driving Brakes Welding Diagnostics Responsibilities: Perform work as described on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with BMW factory standards. Diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunctions, and recommend/perform appropriate repairs. Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools safely and effectively. Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain needed parts. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols. Ensure that all repairs are completed to the highest standards, ensuring customer satisfaction. Work Environment: Dealership setting, working on cars and light trucks. Regular hours, Monday to Friday, with day shifts and occasional weekends as needed. This role is on-site; remote work is not available. Ideal Candidate: Dependable and reliable, with a strong work ethic. Enjoys interacting with people and working collaboratively in a team setting. Adaptable and flexible, able to handle frequent changes in work direction. Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and accuracy in all tasks. Thrives in a high-pressure environment, capable of managing multiple priorities.
