Carlisle Customs Classics & Coachworks, LLC is an award-winning automotive restoration and custom builder with a forty-five year history. We work on a wide variety of antique, classic, exotic, and rare vehicles, offering services from full frame-off restorations to custom builds. Located in central Pennsylvania, we are expanding into a state-of-the-art facility and are seeking passionate team members to join our dedicated team. Position Overview: We are looking for a versatile Classic Car Mechanic skilled in bodywork, paintwork, engine work, and general shop assistance. The ideal candidate will be passionate about automotive restoration, highly skilled, and able to work on various projects. Key Responsibilities: Perform detailed bodywork, including metal fabrication, welding, and rust repair. Execute high-quality paintwork, including prep, spraying, and finishing. Diagnose and repair classic car engines and mechanical systems. Assist with general maintenance and repairs as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of workmanship. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Travel locally and nationally to car shows and trade shows. Qualifications: Proven experience in classic car restoration, including bodywork, paintwork, and engine repair. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude. Passion for classic cars and automotive history. Basic computer skills and familiarity with shop management software. Willingness to relocate to Carlisle, PA (relocation assistance available).
