Position Summary: As an Automotive Apprentice Technician at Autobahn Automotive Service, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in automotive maintenance and repair, specifically focused on European vehicles. This role is perfect for someone with a strong desire to learn the mechanical trade and advance their career in the automotive industry. Key Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on European vehicles, including oil changes, filter replacements, and basic electrical work. Assist with the inspection and replacement of vehicle components such as belts, hoses, wipers, and headlights. Complete repair orders accurately, ensuring all work performed is properly documented. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards and company policies. Follow directions from management and senior technicians, adapting to varying tasks based on business needs. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school graduate preferred. Strong desire to learn automotive repair and maintenance. Basic hand tools for preventative maintenance and minor repairs preferred. Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with colleagues and customers. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and at least 5 years of driving experience. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including the ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, kneeling, and lifting heavy objects.
