Position Summary:
Porsche Austin is seeking a Certified Porsche Technician to join our highly skilled service team. In this role, you will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Porsche vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance and safety. You will work closely with our experienced Service Advisors and Parts Counter staff to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Porsche vehicles.
Repair brake, steering, and electrical systems.
Diagnose and repair transmissions, fuel systems, and cooling systems, including air conditioners.
Carry out emissions inspections, safety checks, and state-regulated vehicle examinations.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all work performed.
Ensure a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager.
Qualifications:
Certified Porsche Technician preferred.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an automotive technician.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of workmanship.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

Electrical Knowledge: Experience in automotive electrical systems is beneficial.

Education: Graduates from automotive technical schools and/or ASE certified technicians are preferred.
License: A valid driver's license is required.

Position Overview: The Service Manager will oversee all aspects of the Service Department, including Service Advisors, Technicians, Valets, Service Cashiers, Loaner staff, and Warranty Admins. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in automotive service management, a passion for luxury vehicles, and excellent leadership skills. This position reports directly to the Fixed Operations Director and will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards that have made Porsche Austin a top-rated dealership.
Key Responsibilities:
Set and strive to meet department goals and objectives.
Hire, train, mentor, and monitor the performance of all service department personnel.
Deliver an exceptional, luxury customer experience in alignment with Porsche standards.
Maintain reporting systems required by management and the Porsche factory.
Attend and contribute to regular management meetings.
Oversee technician meetings and ensure effective communication.
Monitor and control department performance through reports, tracking systems, and customer surveys.
Manage customer appointments, service workflow, and department schedules.
Review warranty processes and ensure compliance with Porsche standards.
Lead efforts to maintain a harmonious team environment and promote teamwork across departments.
Implement marketing strategies to attract new business and encourage repeat customers.
Ensure a safe and professional work environment.
Conduct performance reviews for both service advisors and technicians on a regular basis.
Manage loaner fleet and loaner department staff.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of automotive products, repairs, and industry documentation.
Managerial experience in the automotive service industry.
Strong mechanical and auto parts knowledge.
Ability to read and interpret safety regulations, operational guidelines, and procedure manuals.
Punctual, reliable, with excellent communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Ability to provide an exceptional customer experience, maintaining Porsche’s luxury standards.
