Performance Technician

We are seeking a reliable employee that can perform a variety of tasks, be flexible and become an expert at problem solving. Compensation is dependent on experience. Duties: Being a small shop, the list of duties is not exhaustive. The person who fills this position will be asked to perform tasks that are not listed here. All duties listed will need to be performed under minimal supervision. • Removal and re-installation of engines, transmissions, axles, and other major components. • Removal of components that are rusty and dirty using hand tools and cut off tools. • Perform basic maintenance on customer vehicles. • Pick up parts and deliver shipments. • Assist with deep cleaning the shop, office and bathrooms 1/week. • Maintain the building and grounds by mowing, painting and cleaning as needed. • Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements: • Thorough understanding of vehicle systems (cooling, fuel, A/C, etc…). • Experienced with operating a variety of tools and equipment while following safety procedures. • Ability to follow shop rules to ensure safety and quality. • Ability to maintain records of work completed. • Be adaptable to changes in day to day schedules. • Willing to accept feedback and make changes. • Desire to maintain a clean work area and appearance. • Interest in the automotive aftermarket and current trends. • Positive, helpful attitude! • Ability to handle physical requirements, including but not limited to, repeated bending stretching, twisting, and lifting up-to 75lbs.
