Vintage Car Mechanic

Position Overview: Tony’s Muscle Cars is looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanic passionate about vintage car restoration. Work with 1950s-1980s muscle cars in a dynamic and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Install and modify parts such as Vintage Air systems, wire harnesses, EFI systems, LS/Coyote swaps, gauges, suspension, lifts, brake kits, and modern radios. Perform vehicle upgrades, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. Communicate with management for parts, problem advisories, and repair approvals. Document work with notes and pictures. Embrace new methods and handle multiple priorities effectively. Qualifications: In-depth knowledge of vintage automobiles, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Experience in restoring various car types, both foreign and domestic. Proficiency in diagnostics and 12-volt systems. OEM and ASE certifications are a plus. 3 years of automotive experience with American-made classics (1950-1979). Own necessary tools and have a clean, valid driver’s license. High school diploma or equivalent; automotive secondary school is a plus. Strong time management skills and basic computer proficiency.
