About Tonys Muscle Cars
Tony's Muscle Cars, also known as Tony's Muscle Cars & Restorations, is a classic GM muscle car restoration shop at 1049 South Church Street in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. It began in the 1980s as a hobby shared by a father and son, Tony Sr. and Tony Jr., and has restored more than 150 cars over 35 years. In October 2022, Paul DeAngelo and his sons Jarrod and Paul Jr. joined as partners. The shop has announced plans to move into a larger specialty restoration facility on Route 309 in Hazleton. The work centers on Chevelles, GTOs, Corvettes, Camaros, Novas, Bel Airs and classic Chevy pickups. Services include rotisserie and chassis restorations, pro-touring builds and restomods, custom builds, sandblasting and engine detailing. Many builds pair a classic shell and frame with a new GM performance crate engine under a written build agreement, and a typical build takes nine to twelve months. The interior department handles upholstery and trim, dashboards and consoles, convertible tops and headliners, bench-to-bucket seat conversions and color matching. Tony's Muscle Cars is hiring an automotive upholstery and convertible top technician with five or more years of experience. A vintage car mechanic opening is also posted.
