Classics Mechanic

Modern Rust is seeking a versatile and skilled Classic Car Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a wide range of skills and the flexibility to assist with various projects across the shop. This role requires a strong understanding of classic car restoration, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for automotive excellence. Key Responsibilities: Perform maintenance, repairs, and restorations on classic cars, including engine work, bodywork, and electrical systems. Assist with various projects throughout the shop, providing support wherever needed. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in classic vehicles. Perform welding, fabrication, and custom modifications as required for restoration projects. Work closely with the team to ensure high standards of craftsmanship and quality. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Communicate effectively with customers and team members about project status and any challenges encountered. Versatile skill set with the ability to assist with various tasks across the shop. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in welding, metal fabrication, and automotive electrical systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
