Position Summary
Maintain and run classic road and race cars ranging from years' 1910 through 1970 supporting outside of MacAllister Machinery business. Position is responsible for a variety of tasks ranging from maintaining, repairing, and restoring vintage race cars, motorcycles, and trucks.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
• Maintain, Repair, and Prepare 11-12 Historic Race cars for use at 5-7 events annually.
• Support race cars at race events in the US and overseas.
• Support Classic cars on road rallies as needed.
• Restore, repair, and Maintain 100 plus motorcycles.
• Maintain 60 plus Vintage cars in collection.
• Maintain and repair and clean all Classic seasonal driving cars.
• Clean and check all everyday road cars.
• Maintain workshop in a clean and tidy manner.
Position Requirements
• 10 years of experience working on Automobiles.
• Experience in racing at a high level
• Classic/Vintage car repair experience
• High school diploma or equivalent

This exciting opportunity is in support of classic road and race cars ranging from years' 1910 through 1970 outside of MacAllister business.
What You’ll Bring:
• Expert Metal Fabrication Skills: Proficiency in hand‑forming aluminum and steel. Experience using tools like an English wheel or power hammer is a huge plus.
• Quality Welding Ability: Strong TIG and/or gas welding skills with an eye for clean, precise welds on steel and aluminum.
• Material Knowledge: Understanding different metals and grades — and knowing which to apply for the right job.
• Riveting Experience: Confidence in hard riveting techniques.
• Machining Competency: Experience running a mill and lathe with accuracy and efficiency.
• Automotive Understanding: A solid grasp of automotive systems and components.
• Adaptability & Problem-Solving: The ability to be flexible, take on diverse tasks, and contribute wherever needed.
• Composite Experience (Preferred): Bonus points if you’ve worked with composite materials.
