Job Overview:
Potzinger Rewerks is seeking a skilled and experienced Porsche Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for Porsche vehicles, paired with extensive technical knowledge and hands-on experience. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various Porsche models, ensuring they perform at their peak for our customers.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and restorations on Porsche vehicles (classic and modern).
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and performance issues.
Use Porsche-specific diagnostic tools and software.
Conduct high-quality restorations, from minor repairs to full vehicle overhauls.
Maintain and ensure the operational efficiency of tools and equipment in the workshop.
Keep accurate and detailed records of services and repairs performed.
Communicate effectively with customers, explaining the required services and providing updates.
Uphold high standards of craftsmanship and care, consistent with the Porsche brand.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an automotive technician, with specific experience working on Porsche vehicles.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using Porsche diagnostic tools and software, such as PIWIS.
Knowledge of both air-cooled and water-cooled Porsche models is highly preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A passion for Porsche and a dedication to high-quality workmanship.
ASE certification is a plus but not required.
Valid driver’s license.
