Raleigh Speed Shop is seeking an experienced individual with a strong background in automotive paint and bodywork to lead our paint and body shop. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with the drive to manage and grow our department while ensuring high-quality results on every project. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee all paint and bodywork operations within the shop, ensuring top-quality craftsmanship and adherence to project timelines. • Perform and supervise bodywork, including panel alignment, dent repair, and surface preparation. • Execute and manage paint jobs, including color matching, spraying, and finishing to achieve a showroom-quality finish. • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and project completion. • Train, mentor, and manage a team of technicians, fostering a positive and productive work environment. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition. • Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding project updates and expectations. • Implement and enforce shop policies and procedures to maintain high standards of quality and safety. Qualifications: • Extensive experience in automotive paint and bodywork, particularly with classic cars. • Proven ability to manage a team and oversee shop operations. • Strong knowledge of paint systems, including color matching and application techniques. • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. • Excellent communication and leadership skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude. • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
