Automotive Technician – Classic & Restoration Work (Experienced Only)

Innovative Restorations is an established automotive restoration and service shop specializing in classic, muscle, and custom vehicles, along with select late-model service work. The shop handles everything from routine repairs to full frame-off restorations, giving technicians the opportunity to work on a wide variety of unique and rewarding projects. This is a full-time position with a consistent daytime schedule. This is not an entry-level role—we are seeking an experienced automotive technician with strong diagnostic ability who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys working on both modern and classic vehicles. What You’ll Work On: • Mechanical repair and maintenance on late-model vehicles • Classic car restoration projects and long-term builds • Engine, suspension, brake, and drivetrain systems • Troubleshooting and diagnostics across a wide range of vehicles • Supporting full restorations from teardown through final assembly Responsibilities: • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues across various vehicle types • Perform general automotive repair and maintenance • Contribute to classic vehicle restoration projects with a focus on quality and detail • Prioritize and manage repair tasks efficiently • Document and complete repair orders accurately • Maintain a clean and organized work environment Required Qualifications: • Minimum 5+ years of professional automotive technician experience • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills • Experience with classic vehicles is a plus • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • High attention to detail and pride in workmanship • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset • Must have own professional tools Schedule: • Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM • Friday: 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM Compensation & Benefits: • $28.00 – $37.00 per hour (based on experience) • Health benefits available • Paid Time Off (PTO) • Consistent full-time hours • Clean, professional shop environment Why Work at Innovative Restorations: • Work on classic American, European, and muscle cars • Be part of full restorations, not just routine service • Variety of projects—no repetitive flat-rate production work • Stable schedule with early Friday finish • Skilled team focused on quality craftsmanship Innovative Restorations is an equal opportunity employer.
