Redline Restorations occupies a former Ford and Lincoln dealership building in the Black Rock district of Bridgeport, Connecticut, at 2475 Fairfield Ave, where it does restoration, service, storage and vehicle sales under one roof. Colton Amster started the business in 2003, and the facility now covers more than 120,000 square feet. The shop takes vehicles of any age, with a focus on classic and exotic cars such as Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, Alfa Romeo and Porsche, plus classic 4x4s like Ford Broncos, Land Rovers and International Scouts. The in-house departments handle fabrication and rust removal, autobody and paint, upholstery, mechanical and electrical work, dry ice blasting, detailing, ceramic coating, and insurance and collision repair. The company also does pre-purchase inspections and sells consigned cars from its showroom. A technician here works next to specialists in other trades, on everything from full restorations to routine service. The service department runs Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The building also houses the Redline Room, an event venue, and the company sells VP Racing Fuels.
