Job Summary:
The Automotive Sales Consultant is responsible for selling new or used vehicles, achieving sales goals, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role involves building customer relationships, explaining vehicle features, and guiding clients through the entire sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
Meet and exceed dealership sales goals.
Greet customers and assess their vehicle needs, preferences, and budget.
Demonstrate the features and operation of vehicles, both in the showroom and during test drives.
Suggest optional equipment and accessories for purchase.
Calculate and quote sales prices, including taxes, trade-in allowances, and discounts.
Complete all necessary paperwork, including preparing sales slips or contracts.
Arrange for the delivery and registration of sold vehicles.
Engage in business development activities to drive sales.
Maintain excellent customer service and address customer concerns effectively.
Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, availability of models, and optional equipment.
Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
Participate in required training sessions and follow company policies and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
Experience: Up to 3 years of sales or customer service experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
Valid Driver’s License (required).
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and web-based customer management systems.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions and documents.
Basic mathematical skills for adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Frequent standing, walking, and occasional sitting.
Duties are performed indoors and outdoors, including during customer test drives.
Exposure to various work environments and tasks.
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Drivetrain: Perform engine swaps and upgrades to suspension, transmission, axles, brakes, fuel systems, and differentials. Some simple fabrication may be required.
Upfit: Install interior and exterior accessories and upgrades, ranging from simple to complex, including some electrical integration.
Electrical: Fabricate wire harnesses, perform wiring upgrades, and conduct custom fabrication and electrical testing.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive service or repair is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Unmatched passion for automotive restoration, customization, and modification.
Experience with classic cars, particularly Land Rover Defenders, is a plus but not required.
